"Oh, woe to me..."

Today, for culinary practical, I had to make the fish stock and sauce (with a Whiting Fish - very light in taste) that was demonstrated yesterday. Ha ha, seems like no problem, right? WRONG!!! I was given a whole fish to de-scale, extract the eyeballs, cut into fillets, rip out the gills, and cook! It was SLIMY and STINKY!!!! (not to mention very challenging.) The moral of this story is that I will be buying already filleted fish to cook when I make dinner! (The title of the article is a line from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," for all who were curious.)
