A friend and I just saw "The Blood Diamond" tonight. (The release date was today, in Paris...most movies come out later, here, than in the States.) It is a must see in my opinion! I was astounded with the acting! I couldn't say anything until the credits were over, I was that impressed!
"The Blood Diamond" is about the civil war in Sierra Leone, in 1990. (I don't want to say anything that would give the plot away!) :o)
Obviously, this action film is not for everyone (rated R for violence), but if you enjoy excellent acting, tense scenes, and tear-jerking plots that mean something, you will enjoy it! (Please let me know if any of you see it!)
